I joined My First #Thedailymarker30day Challenge !
Hello coloring friends!
I decided to join the daily marker 30 day Challenge by Kathy Rac, It sounded fun and I love trying new stuff.
The goal is to make time to color everyday and does not matter if you color a complete project or just had 5 minutes but remembering this is a YOU time. Relaxing time and enjoy it….
I started very happily, Got to see the work of amazing artists that encourage each other and give you pointers on your coloring if you ask for it.

Elena’s Practice
I wanted to finish a project everyday. Coming from VanillaArts.com Style I color large images with many components that can not look so pretty in the beginning stages but shine once they are complete, I didn’t want to turn in some unfinished looking images !
I saw how the other participant’s projects were amazing and finished and I did what Kathy Rac says not to do…. I put pressure on myself.
This was supposed to be my ME time and just enjoy!

What I have learned
Color what you like
Don’t pressure yourself to finish a project
I came up with the most interesting combinations
My copic flicks are very consistent
Getting to know each of my markers, Who is the rebel, bleeds, needs refilling, needs a new nib, etc
My desk looks pretty cute with all the projects going on
I can jump from one project to the other and recognize the markers used without having to check my list
I have tons of images to make cards with
I have tons of images to share recipes with you !
Final Thoughts
I am enjoying the challenge very much, With little adjustments on my own expectations It has become a daily ME time. Join it at least once or follow it, The projects shared will inspire you and expose you to different styles and mediums.
